Workshop for Art Teachers: Making Cyanotypes

Saturday, September 25, 2010, 1-4PM
Capacity: 20
Facilitator: Frank Abruzzese
This workshop is free, please book a spot as there are limited spaces.

This three hour workshop introduces the cyanotype: one of the oldest photographic process that produces a stunning vivid blue and white monochromatic image. Creating cyanotypes is a simple, effective way to introduce traditional photographic processes to students, without the need for a darkroom. Participants will learn how to make a cyanotype, and explore practical applications for the classroom. Bring a pair of rubber gloves, and watercolour or printmaking paper. Everything else will be provided.
