With a focus on professional development, our Retreat for High School Art Teachers is designed as a forum for the exchange of ideas and strategies for teaching the visual arts. Seven participants will stay at Cow House Studios, enjoying full access to our studio facilities, good company and delicious home cooked food.
As part of the exchange each teacher will lead a workshop in their area of interest, demonstrating a process, technique or successful lesson plan. Additionally, there will be plenty of time for participants to make their own work and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
This retreat includes room and board, some materials, and transport to and from Dublin airport. This retreat is open to visual art teachers in all media including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics and media arts. Spaces are limited to one teacher from each school, and we will be accepting participants on a first come first served basis.
