Rosie O’Gorman obtained her Bachelors Degree in Art and Design Education from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. She was awarded two national Irish awards: the Larkin Memorial Award for her teaching and the Taylor Award for her painting. She then received a Fulbright Scholarship and studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts. Rosie acquired extensive teaching experience at both National College and the Art Institute and successfully piloted the Children’s Art Program at “Hang” Art Gallery in San Francisco. Currently, Rosie also teaches painting in the Continuing Education Department at National College, in Dublin, where she strives to meaningfully engage students with an individual approach to art making. She works in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, installation and sculpture, and her art is frequently exhibited in Ireland and abroad.Frank Abruzzese, originally from Philadelphia, obtained his Bachelors Degree in Moving Image Arts from the College of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and his Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute. He received the Emerging Photographer of the Year award from San Francisco Magazine. As a photographer, Frank exhibits his artwork internationally in galleries and universities. He worked as a camp counsellor, photography instructor, and initiated the education program at one of Philadelphia's premier camera stores. Frank also gained valuable teaching experience at the Art Institute where he developed an interest in a multidisciplinary, ideas-based approach to working with students.
